KPMG urgently required a Programme Manager to lead a high-profile digital transformation programme (Microsoft D365) for an initial 6-month contract. Working to an extremely tight deadline, KPMG partnered exclusively with Robert Walters, trusting the expertise and extensive network of their Change & Transformation recruitment team.

Requirement

The ideal candidate needed specific technical delivery experience working on a similar technology programme. The role would involve managing demanding stakeholders, so confidence and strong stakeholder management experience would be essential. Emphasis was placed on cultural fit, and the successful candidate needed the specific soft skills required to work in an intense, fast-paced environment.

Presenting the shortlist, KPMG interviewed the individuals, leading to an exceptional candidate (who was previously known to Robert Walters) being offered the role. Within 1-2 weeks, the Programme Manager was successfully onboarded, allowing for a smooth start to the programme.

Due to the placement's success and the quality of service delivered, KPMG entrusted Robert Walters to identify, attract and engage a PMO for another high-profile transformation project of similar urgency.
