Desktop Support Engineer - Investment Manger

A well-established financial services organisation is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join its internal IT team. This is a customer-facing role supporting users across multiple London offices, providing high-quality technical support while maintaining a secure and modern IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line desktop support, managing incidents and requests through to resolution.
• Support Windows 11 devices using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Manage the Joiners, Movers & Leavers process, including user accounts, device builds and software licensing.
• Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Office applications.
• Administer laptops, mobile devices and peripherals, including Apple devices via Intune and Apple Business Manager.
• Troubleshoot networking, telephony, meeting room AV and printing issues.
• Assist with endpoint security, patching, compliance and IT documentation.
• Work with third-party vendors and contribute to continuous service improvements.

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience providing Desktop Support within a corporate environment (financial services experience beneficial).
• Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with Apple device management and IT asset management.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service desk best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication and customer service skills.
