Finance Data & Systems Manager Leicester (hybrid) £60,000 to £70,000 per annum Permanent

I am currently looking for a Finance Data and Systems Manager to join a client based in Leicester. This will suit someone who thrives on ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, enjoys working with advanced reporting tools, and is passionate about supporting business decision-making through insightful analysis.

Finance Data & Systems Manager – What will you be doing?

• Overseeing all aspects of delivering accurate data to finance-administered systems, with a primary focus on Cognos TM1.
• Extracting, cleansing, and managing large volumes of data from multiple sources to ensure high-quality information feeds into reporting tools.
• Managing seamless data feeds between various source systems and the Cognos TM1 reporting and forecasting platform, ensuring timely delivery each month.
• Performing detailed control reconciliations to identify and resolve anomalies or exceptions in financial data processing.
• Supporting the design, build, and ongoing maintenance of IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 reporting and forecasting tools to meet evolving business needs.

Finance Data & Systems Manager – What will you need?

• Demonstrated experience managing large volumes of financial data from varied sources within a fast-evolving environment.
• Proven track record as an experienced user of Cognos TM1 or IBM Planning Analytics for both administration and development purposes.
• Advanced Excel skills enabling efficient manipulation and presentation of complex datasets for reporting purposes.
• Prior experience administering databases or managing manual data feeds would be advantageous for this position.
• Excellent relationship management abilities with strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement across disciplines.
