Internal Sales Executive Rossendale £30k - £35k + Quarterly Bonus (OTE 10K Per Annum)

A well-established business within the electrical wholesale sector is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join its successful team in Rossendale.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused sales professional with electrical wholesale experience to join a growing organisation that values long-term customer relationships and offers genuine opportunities for career development.

The Role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of key customer accounts, providing exceptional service and identifying opportunities to grow revenue. Working closely with suppliers and the wider branch team, you'll ensure customers receive a seamless experience from enquiry through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of medium to large customer accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers, delivering a consistently high level of service.
  • Prepare quotations, process orders and proactively follow up outstanding opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise sales and grow existing accounts.
  • Liaise with suppliers to source products and meet customer requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Support the achievement of branch sales and gross margin targets.
  • Resolve customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales records using internal systems.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an Internal Sales position within the electrical wholesale industry.
  • Experience managing key or high-value customer accounts.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to identify sales opportunities.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Experience using CRM, ERP or sales management systems.
  • A full UK driving licence.
