Moving your career across the globe is no small feat, as Tom can attest to. While working as a Business Analyst at Marriott in Dubai, Tom found he needed to move back to the UK for family reasons. "My wife and I were looking to relocate back to the UK after 5 years in Dubai." Given his 5-year hiatus from the UK job market, the challenge lay in "penetrating the market remotely," Tom explains.
In the summer of 2018, Tom reached out to Robert Walters and it wasn't long before recruitment consultants at Robert Walters Manchester set the wheels in motion. "I had an initial communication with Neil Rogerson, and we arranged to meet in Spinningfields on my summer return to the UK to discuss my CV and options."

Relocating from Dubai to Manchester was not without its challenges, particularly given Tom's five-year hiatus from the UK job market.
