Tech Counsel (Remote) £700-800pd

High profile financial services business looking for a Senior Tech Counsel for a three month period to cover a period of leave. This role can either be fully remote or you have the option to go into the London office should you wish. Although please note that you must have the right to work in the UK (and be based in the UK also). You must be available to start on October 26th and also have the capacity to work in the week between Christmas and New Year.

The postholder will be tasked with leading the negotiation of key commercial deals for the business, largely centered around technology/SaaS, outsourcing, MSAs, software licensing and professional services agreements. You will also be called upon to provide more generalist advice on matters such as data privacy and potentially M&A.

The successful candidate will be a UK qualified lawyer (or admitted overseas with a significant volume of UK experience) and have at least 10 years’ PQE, although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must be able to demonstrate that you are a technology contracts specialist (as opposed to a generalist with some tech experience) with a proven track record in SaaS agreements. A background in the financial services sector would be preferred but not essential.

Please note this role is Inside IR35 so unfortunately individuals wanting to operate via a personal service/limited company cannot be considered on this occasion.
