What you'll do:
- Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring each transaction progresses smoothly and efficiently.
- Handle all aspects of residential sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and leasehold matters with meticulous attention to detail.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout their transaction journey, providing updates and reassurance at every stage.
- Liaise effectively with estate agents, lenders, brokers and other third parties to facilitate seamless property transactions.
- Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, anti-money laundering requirements and internal firm procedures at all times.
- Build strong client relationships by delivering excellent service and fostering trust through clear communication and reliability.
- Utilise case management systems and Microsoft Office applications to maintain accurate records and progress files efficiently.
- Contribute positively to the team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and participating in collaborative initiatives.
- Balance competing priorities with excellent organisational skills while maintaining high standards of accuracy in all documentation.
- Actively participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

- Demonstrated experience independently managing residential conveyancing matters from start to finish within a legal practice or similar setting.
- Exceptional communication skills that enable you to provide clear updates to clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Strong organisational abilities that allow you to manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
- A client-focused approach characterised by empathy, patience and a commitment to delivering outstanding service at every touchpoint.
- Proficiency in using case management systems as well as Microsoft Office applications for efficient file handling and record-keeping.
- A positive attitude towards teamwork coupled with the willingness to share knowledge and support others within the department.
- Sound understanding of SRA regulations, anti-money laundering requirements and best practices relevant to residential property law.
