Interim Legal Counsel

As Interim Legal Counsel, you’ll take the lead on end-to-end SaaS contracting, working closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Product, and Finance. Your pragmatic legal guidance will empower the business to move quickly while managing risk effectively.

About the role

The successful Interim Legal Counsel will:

• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS agreements, MSAs, DPAs, and Order Forms.
• Provide clear, commercially focused advice on contractual risks.
• Manage a high-volume contract pipeline with speed and precision.
• Advise on IP, data privacy (UK GDPR/GDPR), and liability issues.
• Support deal teams at critical sales cycle stages.
• Enhance contract templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Assist with vendor negotiations as needed.

About you:

The successful Interim Legal Counsel will:

• Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent) with 4+ years' PQE.
• Strong experience in SaaS or technology contracting (in-house or private practice).
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Solid knowledge of data protection law and commercial contracts.
• Immediate availability — must be able to start within seven days.
