Payroll Administrator
Payroll Administrator Location: Manchester Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Excellent Benefits A leading international organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Payroll Administrator to join its growing payroll team. Following continued business expansion and an increase in headcount across multiple UK sites, the company is investing in strengthening its payroll function and is looking for someone who can support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and validate payroll data, ensuring all employee changes are processed accurately and submitted within agreed payroll deadlines.
- Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process, including reconciliations, statutory payments and year-end activities such as P60s.
- Experience processing payroll for a workforce of 1,000+ employees is essential.
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records across HR and payroll systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and payroll legislation.
- Carry out regular payroll audits and data checks to maintain a high level of payroll accuracy and integrity.
- Produce payroll reports and assist with payroll administration and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide support with employee benefits administration and assist with additional payroll-related projects where required.
About You
- Previous experience working within a payroll environment with exposure to end-to-end payroll processing.
- Experience working with an outsourced payroll bureau (such as SD WorxWorx, MoorepayMoorepay, ZellisZellis, ADP, IRIS or similar) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, statutory payments and payroll best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build effective relationships across HR, Finance and the wider business.
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
