We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Programme Manager to lead and deliver complex global transformation initiatives. This role will focus on driving large-scale people change, organisational transformation, post-acquisition integration, restructuring, and HR technology implementation across multiple regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives while ensuring seamless execution and adoption of transformational programs.
As the HR Programme Manager, you will work closely with C-suite executives, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that
enable cultural, structural, and operational transitions. You will be responsible for end-to-end program delivery, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring measurable business outcomes.
Programme Leadership s Delivery:
• Lead end-to-end delivery of global HR transformation programs from initiation through implementation and transition into BAU operations.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Establish robust governance frameworks including steering committees, project boards, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and executive reporting mechanisms.
Organisational Design s Workforce Transformation:
• Design and implement Target Operating Models (TOM) and organisational structures aligned with strategic business goals.
• Drive workforce restructuring initiatives, including redundancy planning, TUPE transfers, harmonisation strategies, and consultation processes.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
HR Technology Implementation:
• Oversee the deployment of global HRIS systems, payroll platforms, talent management tools, and digital enablement solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and user adoption.
• Develop training materials, communication plans, and support resources to facilitate smooth transitions.
Post-Acquisition Integration s Separation Activities:
• Lead people-related activities for mergers, acquisitions, separations, or divestitures.
• Manage due diligence processes, employee transitions (in/out), policy harmonisation efforts, and cultural integration initiatives
Global Collaboration s Multi-Country Delivery:
• Coordinate cross-regional teams across EMEA/APAC/Americas to ensure consistency in program execution.
• Adapt strategies to account for jurisdictional nuances such as legal requirements, cultural differences, tax rules, benefits structures, etc.
Key Skills s Competencies:
• Proven experience delivering large-scale global HR transformation programs in complex matrix organizations.
• Expertise in organizational design (TOM), workforce restructuring (redundancy/TUPE), post-merger integration/separation activities.
• Strong knowledge of HR technology systems (e.g., HRIS platforms) and their implementation lifecycle.
• Exceptional project management skills including governance frameworks (RAID logs), milestone tracking, risk management, and benefits realization.
• Advanced stakeholder engagement capabilities with the ability to build trust at all levels (C-suite executives to employees).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear messaging tailored for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience tracking program performance against KPIs/business outcomes.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining focus on strategic objectives.
Qualifications s Experience:
• Professional certifications such as Prince2 Practitioner or PMP are highly desirable.
• 10+ years of experience in HR program/project management roles within global organisations.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-country programs across EMEA/APAC/Americas regions.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as financial services is a plus.
