HR Administrator - 12 months FTC
We are partnering with a well-established and fast-paced organisation to recruit an HR Administrator on a 12 Months fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their career within HR while gaining valuable exposure to a significant HR systems implementation project. London based - Hybrid (3 days in office) £29,000
Working closely with the wider People Team, you will support key employee lifecycle processes while playing an important role in ensuring a smooth transition to a new HR system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contractual changes and leaver processes.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR and HR system-related queries.
- Support the implementation of a new HR system through testing, data validation and user support.
- Manage manual processes, reports and trackers during the systems transition period.
- Produce reports and management information where system functionality is not yet available.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity.
- Support compliance processes, including right-to-work documentation, family leave administration and payroll deadlines.
- Monitor shared HR inboxes and respond to routine employee queries.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), troubleshooting and process documentation.
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and user guides.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- CIPD Level 3, an HR-related qualification, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Confidence using technology and learning new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in an HR, administration or customer service role.
- Exposure to HR systems or business systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment such as hospitality, retail or similar sectors.
- Knowledge of HR systems implementation, testing or data migration activities.
