HR Coordinator Location: Hemel Hempstead, hybrid Salary: up to £35,000 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

This position supports the day-to-day delivery of people-related processes, ensuring smooth administration across all stages of the employee journey. The right candidate will contribute to an efficient, approachable, and service-oriented function that prioritises employee experience and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and distribute employment documentation, including offers and contractual agreements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Organise all logistics related to employee onboarding, such as induction arrangements, pre-employment screening, and eligibility-to-work compliance checks.
  • Maintain secure and precise employee records within the HR information system, ensuring all entries remain current and compliant.
  • Update records to reflect employment changes, including role transitions, pay revisions, and departures from the organisation.
  • Oversee offboarding administration and documentation.
  • Act as an initial contact for general people-related queries from both staff and management, offering guidance on processes, systems, and policies.
  • Coordinate administration of employee benefit schemes and support participation processes.
  • Manage recognition initiatives and service milestone acknowledgements in a consistent and timely way.
  • Provide administrative support in employee relations matters, including note-taking and preparation of supporting documentation.

The Right Candidate:

  • Holds, or is working towards, a relevant professional qualification in people management (e.g. Level 3 certification).
  • Previous exposure to HR or people administration environments.
  • Competent in using HR systems and digital tools.
  • Builds strong working relationships based on trust and professionalism.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
