ETF Operations Officer
A leading global asset management firm is seeking an ETF Operations Officer! * 2-5 years’ experience in fund operations, portfolio administration or fund accounting supporting ETF lifecycle events from execution through to NAV production is essential. * Background working within asset management or with an ETF provider or fund administration with demonstrable knowledge of ETFs, equities, and fixed income products is required.

What you'll do:
- Perform daily portfolio administration activities for US and European ETFs, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely processing of all transactions.
- Review and monitor portfolio transactions from trade execution through settlement, supporting creation/redemption workflows while capturing cash and security movements efficiently.
- Investigate and resolve unmatched trades, settlement exceptions, failed transactions, and data discrepancies by liaising with relevant stakeholders to maintain operational integrity.
- Coordinate closely with brokers, custodians, counterparties, and administrators to minimise operational risk and guarantee timely settlement of all ETF-related activities.
- Support relationships with Authorised Participants (APs), Market Makers, custodians, and service providers by managing creation/redemption order processing, onboarding activities, and primary market operations.
- Assist in PCF (Portfolio Composition File), holdings, and portfolio data validation activities to ensure accuracy across all reporting functions.
- Contribute to the enhancement of operational processes by identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with colleagues on best practices.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at optimising ETF platform performance and expanding product offerings.
- Provide responsive support during time-sensitive periods such as month-end or NAV production cycles.
What you bring:
- Fund accounting supporting ETF lifecycle events from execution through to NAV production is essential for this role.
- Proven background working within asset management firms or with an ETF provider or fund administration company with demonstrable knowledge of ETFs, equities, and fixed income products is highly valued.
- A broad operational understanding encompassing trade support functions, reconciliations processes, corporate actions handling, and portfolio accounting responsibilities is required.
- Experience using Bloomberg, SimCorp or similar systems is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn new systems is appreciated.
- Exceptional analytical skills paired with strong organisational abilities enable you to manage complex tasks efficiently while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Your problem-solving capabilities are complemented by sensitivity towards time-critical deadlines; you respond calmly under pressure without compromising quality.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills allow you to convey information clearly when interacting with colleagues or external partners.
