Credit Ops and Client Services (12mo FTC)

Looking for candidates with 3-5 years of loan agency/admin experience. Must be fine with 5 days in office and immediately available. Work in a multifunctional role supporting end-to-end transaction execution across loans administration, trade finance, agency functions, and client services while collaborating closely with knowledgeable colleagues.

What you'll do:

• Administer bilateral and syndicated loan facilities by managing drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixings, repayments, prepayments, and restructuring events with meticulous attention to accuracy.
• Calculate, claim, and follow up on fees, commissions, and interest in accordance with contractual agreements to ensure timely revenue recognition.
• Coordinate closing, execution, and amendment processes for loan transactions while acting as Facility Agent, Participant, or Lender in collaboration with syndicate banks, borrowers, and legal counsel.
• Manage the full lifecycle of guarantee issuance including structuring, documentation preparation, issuance processes, and ongoing monitoring for compliance with market standards such as URDG, ISP98, and UCP600.
• Handle documentary collections and trade finance transactions efficiently while adhering to industry regulations and best practices.
• Respond promptly to client queries related to loans, payments, guarantees, and cash management while providing expert support for cash management systems such as DNB Connect.
• Process UK clearing items including BACS payments and Direct Debits while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.
• Proactively develop a broad understanding of processes across multiple operational areas by engaging in cross-skilling activities and sharing knowledge within the team.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of key procedures to ensure readiness to step in at short notice wherever needed across the department.
• Continuously seek ways to leverage digital tools and AI solutions to improve process efficiency while contributing positively to the team’s collaborative culture.

What you bring:

• Demonstrated experience (ideally 3–5+ years) in banking operations covering areas such as loans administration, agency roles (Facility Agent/Participant/Lender), payments processing or trade finance operations.
• Familiarity with bilateral/syndicated loan documentation processes as well as agency functions including coordination with syndicate banks or legal counsel is highly desirable.
• Understanding of trade finance principles - including guarantee issuance lifecycles - and practical experience handling documentary collections under rules like URDG or UCP600 would be advantageous.
• Awareness of payment processes (e.g., UK payment systems such as BACS) along with exposure to banking platforms like SWIFT or internal systems (IBIS/IMEX) is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong IT skills coupled with a proactive approach towards adopting digital tools or AI-driven solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency are important assets for this role.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with a control-focused mindset ensures high levels of accuracy when executing complex transactions or maintaining records.
