Financial Planner - US / UK

Robert Walters is partnering with a boutique wealth manager, looking for a talented individual to join them as a Financial Planner. They specialise in advising individuals with complex financial planning and wealth management needs across the US and UK in particular. They are looking for someone qualified, who has experience across both regions.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as the lead adviser for a portfolio of clients with complex cross-border financial planning needs.
• Develop and implement bespoke financial strategies that address the unique challenges of US/UK-connected clients, including tax planning, investment management, and estate planning.
• Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to ensure seamless delivery of cross-border solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with US and UK tax laws, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide clients with the most accurate and relevant advice.
• Contribute to the growth of the business by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and attract new clients.

Qualifications:

• Dual qualification in the US and UK with a minimum of two years of experience as a lead adviser.
• A demonstrable book of clients, showcasing your ability to build and maintain high-value relationships.
• Deep expertise in cross-border financial planning, with a strong understanding of US and UK tax regimes and regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with high-profile clients and navigate sensitive financial discussions.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional client outcomes.
