  • Take ownership of the monthly forecast process for the UK division by working closely with the Head of Finance to explore new scenarios and enhance financial modelling capabilities.
  • Analyse actual results versus forecasts, identifying underlying drivers for variances and translating these findings into clear updates that inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Group Financial Accountant on maintaining an accurate consolidated Balance Sheet, ensuring all entries are precise and up-to-date.
  • Assist in preparing consolidated Group Management Accounts and comprehensive Board Reports for both internal stakeholders and external partners, presenting a holistic view of organisational performance.
  • Play an active role during audit periods by supporting the Group Financial Accountant in managing audit requirements efficiently and effectively.
  • Continuously seek out opportunities to improve existing finance processes, contributing ideas for smarter ways of working that benefit the entire team.
  • Support the Head of Finance and wider business units with ad-hoc tasks as required, adapting quickly to changing priorities and needs within a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant position will bring proven experience gained from similar roles within finance functions—ideally within organisations undergoing transformation or expansion. Your background should include practical involvement in producing management accounts, supporting audits, analysing variances between forecasts and actuals, as well as preparing reports for senior stakeholders.

You should also have experience in the following areas:

  • You are a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who brings hands-on experience in management accounts within a collaborative setting.
  • Your communication skills are clear and confident, enabling you to build positive relationships across all areas of the business while sharing insights effectively.
  • You thrive in environments characterised by growth and change, always seeking ways to improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Your analytical abilities allow you to interpret complex data sets with ease, transforming numbers into compelling narratives that support informed decision-making.
  • You demonstrate exceptional organisational skills by managing multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality or deadlines.
  • Your proactive approach ensures you anticipate challenges before they arise and respond constructively when faced with new situations or requests.

This organisation stands out as an employer due to its unwavering commitment to nurturing talent within an inclusive environment where everyone’s voice is heard. Employees benefit from flexible working arrangements designed to promote work-life balance alongside generous training opportunities that encourage ongoing professional development.

If you are ready to bring your financial expertise into an environment where your contributions truly matter—and where personal growth goes hand-in-hand with organisational success—this is your moment!
