Management Accountant
~~Robert Walters – Management Accountant - Permanent - Hybrid – Solihull - £55,000 per annum~~ Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Solihull, is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to take ownership of key reporting processes, partner with stakeholders across the business, and contribute to strategic decision-making within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Produce monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate any variances.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning activities.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Partner with department heads to monitor performance against budgets.
- Prepare and review monthly KPI reports for senior management.
Key essentials of the Management Accountant:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Strong management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience
- Advanced Excel skills
