Financial Accountant

Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management and reporting packs for senior leadership.
• Lead month-end and year-end financial accounting activities.
• Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet through regular reconciliations and controls.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and support the annual audit process.
• Produce financial reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes where required.
• Work closely with key stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain and develop financial procedures and documentation.

Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Strong financial accounting and reporting experience.
• Experience preparing monthly reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
• Good understanding of statutory accounts and audit processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
