Finance Manager

An exciting new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a Media company entering a new phase of growth. Following an internal promotion, this newly created role will lead day to day finance and support process improvements.

An exciting new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a Media company entering a new phase of growth. Following an internal promotion, this newly created role will lead day to day finance and support process improvements.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, key responsibilities will include:

• Leading day to day finance activities
• Managing month end process including reviewing accruals and prepayments
• Supporting annual audit process including preparing associated documentation and schedules
• Overseeing AP and AR functions including reviewing payments runs when required and reconciliations
• Leading and coaching finance team
• Ad hoc duties as required

Ideal candidate profile:

• Accountant, practice trained in audit
• All round technical accounting skills
• Experience managing month end
• Experience improving and implementing processes
• Ability to manage varied tasks and prioritise workload
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced IT skills
