Finance Manager

A well established organisation in West London is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of day to day financial operations and support senior management with planning and analysis. Responsibilities for the role:

As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the full financial function, from management accounts and budgeting through to payroll, VAT, and year end reporting.

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
• Oversee purchase and sales ledger functions
• Run payroll and statutory payments
• Prepare VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Produce year end accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
• Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
• Support senior management with financial planning and business analysis
• Manage credit control and monitor cash flow
• Lead and support the wider finance team

Requirements for the role:

• A recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA), part or fully qualified
• Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, or Senior Accountant
• Strong working knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial regulations
• Proven experience with management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
• Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks
• Good analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organisational skills and clear communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• A sharp eye for detail when handling financial information
