Group FP&A Manager Salary: up to £85,000 plus bonus and company specifc benefits Location: Bedfordshire

This is a high-profile finance leadership role within a complex, commercially focused environment, offering exceptional exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to directly influence strategic decision-making at the highest level.

Working as part of a forward-thinking finance function, you will play a key role in shaping the Group’s financial performance narrative, delivering insight and analysis that supports business growth and long-term strategy.

The Role

As Group FP&A Manager you will lead the Group’s performance reporting agenda, providing insightful financial and non-financial analysis to senior stakeholders, including the Executive Committee and Board.

You will take ownership of key planning, reporting and forecasting activities, delivering meaningful insight, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting informed commercial decisions.

Leading a small team, you will be responsible for developing a high-performing team culture, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely and impactful reporting across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly Group performance reporting, providing financial and non-financial insight, commentary and recommendations to the Executive Committee and Board.
• Own key external reporting activities, supporting trading updates, half-year and full-year reporting through strong governance, controls and data validation.
• Drive performance insight and challenge, tracking cost efficiency programmes, business performance and key strategic metrics.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of four finance professionals, supporting their growth and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Investor Relations and the wider business to provide commercial analysis and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve FP&A processes, reporting capabilities and decision-making insight.

The Right Candidate

The successful candidate will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience gained within a complex commercial environment.

You will have:

• Proven experience across FP&A, financial reporting, planning and performance analysis.
• Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, modelling and data management skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear business insights.
• A track record of managing competing priorities and delivering to tight deadlines.
• A strategic mindset with the ability to identify risks, opportunities and drive improvements.
• Experience within a multi-site retail, hospitality, consumer or similarly complex organisation would be advantageous.

This Group FP&A Manager is based in Bedfordshire and the salary is up to £95,000 plus bonus and other company specific benefits.
