~~Robert Walters – Finance Manager - Permanent - Solihull - £45,000 - £50,000 per annum~~ Our client, a successful and rapidly growing SME based in Solihull, is seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to join their finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while leading and developing a small team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining strong financial controls, optimising cash flow, and supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

  • Oversee all day-to-day finance department activities.
  • Maintain and update invoice discounting schedules.
  • Oversee weekly and monthly sales invoicing processes.
  • Manage the purchase ledger function and ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Drive cash flow management and maximise working capital.
  • Support the Finance Director with the preparation of annual statutory accounts.

Key essentials of the Finance Manager:

  • ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
