Senior Financial Controller

We're partnering with a globally recognised organisation to appoint an experienced Financial Controller. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organisation in a newly enhanced Financial Controller position leading a high-performing finance team and taking ownership of financial reporting, governance, controls and strategic planning. The Role

• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Manage the external audit and oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Take ownership of balance sheet integrity and cash flow forecasting.
• Lead and develop a finance team of 8.
• Oversee financial controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and wider financial planning activities.
• Drive process improvements and strengthen financial reporting across the business.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight and support strategic decision-making.

What you'll bring

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), practice trained with at least 5-7 years experience in industry.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with experience of statutory reporting and external audits.
• Proven experience leading month-end close and managing financial reporting processes.
• Previous people management experience with the ability to develop and inspire teams.
• Experience with balance sheet ownership and cash flow forecasting.
• Exposure to treasury activities would be advantageous, although deep treasury expertise is not required.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: £100,000-£115,000 depending on experience, plus a very strong benefits package.
• Hybrid working: 4 days per week on site.
• Commutable from Northants/Beds/MK/Leicestershire/Warwickshire.
