Billings & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Salary: £40,000 to 45,000 plus bonus and benefits

Key Responsibilities for the Billings & Accounts Receivable Specialist role

• Managing the end-to-end billing process across multiple customer accounts
• Raising accurate invoices and credit notes in line with company procedures
• Chasing outstanding payments via phone and email to reduce aged debt
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries in a timely manner
• Performing account reconciliations and maintaining accurate customer records
• Supporting cash allocation and ensuring payments are correctly posted
• Building strong relationships with internal teams and external customers
• Producing AR reports and assisting with month-end activities
• Identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

What you will bring to the Billings & Accounts Receivable Specialist role

• Previous experience within Billings, Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence chasing overdue invoices and managing customer queries
• Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently in a busy environment
