Job Title: Credit Controller Location: Birmingham Salary: £27,000 - £33,000 + Bonus DOE Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Robert Walters Group are currently supporting a world leading business based in Birmingham in their recruitment of a credit controller on a permanent basis.

Responsibility of Credit Controller:

  • Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
  • Ensuring timely payments of invoices and maintaining accurate records
  • Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • Monitoring debtor balances to reduce bad debt risk
  • Working closely with the finance team to improve processes and reporting
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Proven experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role
  • Has dealt with large & complex ledgers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
