This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong blend of finance systems expertise and FP&A knowledge who enjoys improving processes, optimising reporting and driving automation. You'll take ownership of the organisation's financial planning system, ensuring it supports budgeting, forecasting and reporting while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day administration and optimisation of the financial planning system.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Maintain system structures, models and data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and enhance financial reports, dashboards and management information.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and work with external support providers where required.
  • Partner with finance and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective system solutions.
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Improve reporting capability and reduce manual processes through technology.
  • Produce clear documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Support finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience administering or supporting a financial planning system such as Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Oracle EPM, IBM Planning Analytics or similar.
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
  • Experience translating business requirements into practical system solutions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports and meaningful financial insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience within Finance Systems, FP&A, Finance Transformation or Business Systems.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, automation and leveraging technology within finance.

Desirable

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or studying towards).
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Exposure to finance transformation or systems implementation projects.

Why Apply?

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in the ongoing development of a modern finance function. You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders, influence system improvements and help shape the future of financial planning and reporting through technology and automation.
