  • Own the Finance Risk Register by monitoring risks, updating mitigation strategies, and ensuring all identified risks are addressed proactively.
  • Conduct thorough financial due diligence for new suppliers to safeguard against potential risks and ensure robust supplier relationships.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within Finance by identifying process weaknesses, implementing enhancements, and monitoring compliance with established policies.
  • Manage treasury-related activities including maintenance of banking mandates, payment platform access, and reconciliation routines.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance Operations Managers to develop efficient transactional finance processes that are well-communicated and embedded throughout the business.
  • Support both internal and external audit activities by providing timely evidence, resolving findings efficiently, and delivering guidance or training on financial control matters.

What you bring:

  • Extensive experience in roles focused on financial controls, accounting or audit within complex organisations where accuracy is paramount.
  • Proven ability to maintain or enhance control environments through diligent oversight of processes and risk management frameworks.
  • Demonstrable track record managing treasury functions including banking mandates, payment systems administration, or cash management routines.
  • Experience developing robust financial processes that are clearly documented, communicated effectively across teams, and consistently adhered to.
  • Strong analytical skills enabling accurate interpretation of complex financial data for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written communication abilities including drafting clear policies or procedural documents for diverse audiences.
  • High levels of organisation with meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive information or multi-faceted projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build dependable cross-functional relationships founded on trust, empathy, cooperation, and shared goals within a collaborative environment.
