Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a well-established, purpose-driven organisation on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Managing, maintaining and enhancing the Microsoft Intune environment and endpoint management solutions.

• Supporting and administering Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Azure services.

• Maintaining and improving network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, switches and wireless networks.

• Implementing and managing cybersecurity measures, including Microsoft Defender and Zero Trust security principles.

• Using PowerShell scripting to automate tasks, streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Monitoring infrastructure performance, system availability and security to ensure reliable IT services.

• Supporting infrastructure upgrades, digital transformation programmes and ongoing improvement projects.

• Providing technical support and expertise across multiple office locations.

• Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a strong interest in modern workplace solutions and cloud-based technologies.

• Enjoys delivering infrastructure projects from initial planning and design through to implementation.

• Demonstrates excellent technical troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Has proven experience working with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Azure and Microsoft 365.

• Works effectively within a team and enjoys supporting colleagues across the business.

• Has hands-on experience managing and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure.

• Takes a proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach to their work.

• Is comfortable balancing day-to-day infrastructure support with technical project delivery.
