The Opportunity

I'm partnering with an established, forward-thinking organisation with a strong presence across the North West, looking for a talented Frontend Developers to join their digital team.

With continued investment in its digital platforms, this is an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies, enhance user experiences and contribute to the development of high-profile websites.

The Role

Working alongside the Website Manager, designers, marketing and technical teams, you'll help develop and maintain the organisation's digital platforms, introduce new functionality and support the migration of multiple websites onto a central platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance websites using React, Next.js and TypeScript.

• Build reusable frontend components within an API-driven architecture.

• Work with HTML, CSS/SASS, Tailwind and Styled Components.

• Integrate frontend applications with GraphQL and backend services.

• Support website migrations and platform improvements.

• Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver engaging user experiences.

• Champion performance, accessibility, responsive design and testing best practices.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain platform reliability.

What We're Looking For

You'll be passionate about frontend development, with strong technical skills and an eye for delivering excellent user experiences.

Essential skills:

• Commercial frontend development experience.

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS/SASS.

• Hands-on experience with React/Next.js

• Experience with GraphQL and API integrations.

• Understanding of responsive design, accessibility and performance optimisation.

• Appreciation of test-driven development.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Desirable skills:

• Tailwind CSS and Styled Components.

• Contentful CMS or similar.

• Azure DevOps and automation tooling.

• API-first or microservices architectures.
