Full Stack Developer (Python/React) - Automation & AI

We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineer to join a growing tech team within a highly regulated environment. This role has a strong focus on delivering practical solutions that improve operational efficiency and support business growth across the organisation. You’ll work across the full SDLC - designing and building web apps, digital forms, automations and AI-powered tools - while helping shape the wider digital and AI transformation.

Key Skills

• Full stack development experience across front end and back end technologies
• Strong Python development skills, including APIs and services using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON and REST APIs
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or comparable low code / workflow platforms
• Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server
• Understanding of AI and LLM fundamentals, including prompt engineering, context management and RAG concepts
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work proactively, adapt quickly and operate within a collaborative team environment

Key Requirements

• Design, develop and enhance web applications, workflows, digital forms, automations and AI powered solutions
• Support the development of AI and intelligent automation solutions, including RAG pipelines and multi step workflows
• Work closely with business stakeholders to identify automation and AI opportunities
• Deliver secure, scalable and maintainable technology solutions
• Contribute to testing, documentation, deployment and ongoing platform support
• Explore emerging AI tools, frameworks and integration approaches
• Support continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and team upskilling
• Contribute to system resilience, administration and platform support

Desirable Experience

• Experience with AI application frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Exposure to locally hosted LLMs and open source models
• Familiarity with vector databases and embedding based retrieval
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployment
• Experience across Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Copilot integrations
• Exposure to workflow migration or legacy platform modernisation projects
• Understanding of information security, data governance and responsible AI considerations
• Relevant Microsoft or AI certifications
