The Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly professional IT Support Engineer to join a growing UK operation. Reporting into the Digital Services team, you will play a key role in supporting employees across the UK business as it continues to scale.
This is a hands-on position where you will be responsible for delivering exceptional end-user support, setting up new technology environments, managing hardware deployments, and ensuring employees have the tools and access required to perform their roles effectively.
As one of the first technology hires in the UK, this role requires someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment, can work independently, and enjoys building processes and support functions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line IT support to UK-based employees.
- Set up, configure and deploy laptops, peripherals and end-user hardware.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and access-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Support Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft 365 and related applications.
- Provide support for key business applications including SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Coordinate with global technology teams to resolve escalated issues.
- Support office technology and workplace services as the UK operation continues to expand.
- Deliver high-touch IT support to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and board-level individuals.
- Maintain IT asset inventories and ensure equipment is deployed effectively.
- Assist with technology projects, office growth initiatives and infrastructure improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an IT Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Analyst or End User Support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications such as SAP and/or SuccessFactors would be advantageous.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience setting up and supporting end-user hardware and workplace technology.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and growing organisation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional and polished approach, with the confidence to support senior executives and board-level individuals.
