Lead IT Analyst - EUC (Investment Management)

An opportunity for a Lead IT Analyst to support end user technology across a London-based office and wider European locations within a fast-paced, trading-focused environment. This role combines hands-on support with project delivery, working closely with global infrastructure teams to maintain high standards across end user computing, collaboration tools, and trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver frontline support for end user technology including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications
• Provide support for trading floor users, including market data platforms such as Bloomberg and similar tools
• Manage and resolve incidents end-to-end, ensuring timely escalation and clear communication throughout
• Support voice, video conferencing, and collaboration platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom)
• Assist with trading floor moves, adds, and changes (MAC activities)
• Provide remote support via VPN and support a distributed user base across Europe
• Participate in shift rotations, including occasional out-of-hours and weekend support
• Carry out daily operational checks and ensure platform stability
• Work closely with global IT teams to align with standards, policies, and initiatives
• Support and coordinate local IT projects and infrastructure-related activities
• Assist users with emerging technologies, including AI-related tools where required

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in IT support within a trading floor or financial services environment
• Strong experience supporting Bloomberg Terminal and/or other market data applications

Solid technical knowledge of:

• Windows desktop environments
• Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
• PC/laptop hardware and mobile devices

Good understanding of:

• LAN networking fundamentals
• VPN technologies
• Video conferencing tools (Teams, Zoom)

• Familiarity with general IT infrastructure and enterprise environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexible approach to working hours where required

Desirable

• CompTIA A+ (or similar certification)
• Experience supporting multi-region environments
• Exposure to IT project delivery or coordination
