Application Support (FIX Connectivity)

This position sits within the Global FIX Connectivity team, providing end-to-end support for FIX connectivity across clients, brokers, vendors, and exchanges.The role supports daily trading operations across High Touch and Low Touch desks, covering Cash Equities, Swaps, and Futures & Options. You will be responsible for FIX onboarding, testing, certification, and ongoing support of trading connectivity across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application and trading support for FIX-enabled trading systems across multiple asset classes
• Manage FIX connectivity requests across clients, brokers, vendors, exchanges, and liquidity venues
• Perform FIX onboarding, testing, and certification for external and internal trading counterparties
• Monitor FIX sessions and trading flows, ensuring system stability and rapid issue resolution
• Troubleshoot FIX and connectivity issues in collaboration with infrastructure, network, and middleware teams
• Coordinate setup and maintenance of external FIX connections and trading relationships
• Support global trading operations through shift-based coverage
• Work closely with international FIX teams to ensure seamless global support

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 2–5 years’ experience within a broker/dealer or trading environment
• Strong experience with FIX protocol, including onboarding and certification
• Knowledge of algorithmic trading and derivatives (Swaps, Futures & Options) within a DMA/DSA environment
• Understanding of trade flow systems and booking processes, particularly within electronic trading environments
• Familiarity with exchange rules across Asian markets (e.g. Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, India, Indonesia)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across trading and connectivity issues
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
