Senior FIX Support Manager (Investment Management)

A Lead Support Analyst is required to join a global FIX Connectivity team, supporting electronic trading across EMEA, APAC, and the US. This role focuses on managing FIX connectivity for clients, brokers, vendors, and exchanges, ensuring seamless trading operations across multiple asset classes. You’ll work in a follow-the-sun support model, collaborating closely with global teams to deliver reliable, high-performance trading connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for High Touch and Low Touch cash equities, as well as SWAP and F&O desks
• Perform FIX protocol testing, on boarding, and certification for clients, brokers, vendors, and exchanges (including lit and dark pools)
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to establish and maintain FIX connectivity with external counterparties
• Manage and maintain relationships with brokers, exchanges, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Support global trading operations across Asia, US, and European markets via a shift-based model
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and trading issues quickly to minimise business impact
• Collaborate with global FIX teams to align processes, share knowledge, and drive efficient issue resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years’ experience working with FIX protocol, including client on boarding and certification
• 3–5 years’ experience within a broker/dealer or electronic trading environment
• Strong understanding of Cash Equities in DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program trading environments
• Knowledge of trade flow and OMS platforms (e.g. Fidessa, FlexTrade or similar)
• Familiarity with exchange rules, particularly across Asian markets
• Understanding of algorithmic trading, SWAPs, and Futures & Options within FIX environments
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with traders, vendors, and technical teams
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively in a global team environment
