As part of a global data team, you’ll play a key role in implementing a modern investment data platform and helping shape how investment data is managed, governed and consumed across the organisation. This is a high-impact role for an investment data specialist who understands both the investment domain and the technology behind it.

Senior Investment Data Analyst – Operations

Location: London – Hybrid (3 days per week)
Salary: £90,000 - 115,000 + 5% bonus
Working hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm

As part of a global data team spanning Europe, North America and the Pacific, you’ll play a key role in implementing a modern investment data platform and helping shape how investment data is managed, governed and consumed across the organisation.

This is a high-impact role for an investment data specialist who understands both the investment domain and the technology behind it.

What You’ll Do

• Help deliver and embed a modern investment data platform.
• Provide deep expertise across IBOR, ABOR and investment data.
• Analyse complex investment datasets using SQL.
• Work closely with investment, technology and business teams to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Partner with technology teams and external vendors on investment data initiatives.
• Support major asset management transformation and operating model change programmes.
• Identify data quality and governance opportunities and help drive continuous improvement.
• Act as a trusted subject matter expert across a range of investment data use cases.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience in investment data, investment operations or business analysis within an investment manager, asset manager or buy-side technology/vendor environment.
• Strong knowledge of IBOR and/or ABOR.
• Experience working with investment data across multiple asset classes.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience working with development teams and external vendors.
• Experience contributing to investment transformation or operating model change programmes.
• Strong understanding of data quality and governance.

Desirable Technology Experience

Experience with any of the following would be highly beneficial:

Snowflake | Databricks | State Street Alpha | Charles River | FactSet
