Data Engineer

- Design and build robust data pipelines that ensure seamless integration between various sources and destinations.
- Lead the migration process from on-premises systems to Azure Cloud and Fabric environments, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Implement best practices for data management, security, and governance throughout all stages of the migration process.
- Utilise Azure Data Factory (ADF) to orchestrate complex workflows and automate data movement across platforms.
- Leverage Power BI to create insightful dashboards and reports that support decision-making across the organisation.
- Optimise performance of data solutions by monitoring usage patterns and proactively addressing bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
- Document all processes thoroughly to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team.
- Provide ongoing support for existing data infrastructure while actively contributing to new development initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in cloud computing and data engineering to continuously improve solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working with Azure Cloud services in a professional setting is essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building automated workflows is required.
- Strong skills in Power BI for creating interactive dashboards and reports are necessary.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is highly valued for successful fabric implementation.
- Familiarity with Synapse Analytics for managing large-scale data processing tasks is important.
- Ability to design scalable data pipelines that integrate seamlessly across diverse environments is crucial.
