Senior Manager, Product & Operational Taxes
This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys leading a diverse team of professionals, working together to solve and mitigate the Operational and Product Tax challenges faced by a range of clients, in the Financial Services sector, from established banks and custodians to fintech and funds. This is open to someone in an industry or consulting role currently.
This is a role which will suit someone who is seeking a step up to Senior Manager within a Product and Operational Tax environment. Responsibilities include:
- Manage reviews of WHT flows for global custodians and investment banks; benchmark treaty rates and identify leakage points.
- Drive and strategically manage key client relationships and projects, establishing yourself as a pivotal and sought-after point of contact for complex Product & Operational Taxes expertise.
- Contribute to AI platform design: Lead requirements gathering, authored specs, tested features, and support adoption
- Oversee the development and delivery of EU and other global client packs; translate legislation into custody procedures,documentation, and internal training.
- Advise on onboarding tax documentation and service scope; reduce friction at KYC/AML/tax intersections for major clients.
- Manage escalations on rate discrepancies, documentation gaps, and eligibility issues; align resolution with Legal/Group Tax and client stakeholders.
