SALES EXECUTIVE Salary:up to £50,000 plus allowances and bonus Location: Remote, UK based Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

I am recruiting on behalf of a growing organisation operating within the wider energy industry. This is a fast-paced, commercially driven environment, and we are looking for a self-motivated, resilient Sales Executive who is comfortable working remotely while maintaining a strong presence with customers across the UK.

This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships from the ground up, balancing new business development with ongoing account management, and who thrives in a role where autonomy, ownership, and customer impact are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions within CRM systems
  • Proactively identify and qualify new opportunities through outbound prospecting
  • Conduct discovery calls and meetings via Teams and in person
  • Support trial handovers, customer onboarding, and in-person presentations
  • Consistently follow up with prospects to guide them through the sales funnel
  • Track pipeline activity, opportunities, and follow-up actions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless coordination
  • Use Excel confidently for tracking, reporting, and basic data analysis
  • Resolve customer queries or issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail across all sales and account activity
  • Balance multiple priorities while managing time and workload effectively
  • Rapidly develop knowledge of internal products, services, and competitor offerings
  • Conduct outbound communication via phone, email, and professional networking platforms

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • 4+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing commercial role
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively
  • Confident using CRM systems and sales engagement tools such as Salesforce and LinkedIn
  • Professional and credible when representing an organisation to customers
  • Clear understanding of sales cycles and customer decision-making journeys
  • A resilient and persistent approach to achieving commercial outcomes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capability
  • Team-oriented attitude with a collaborative working style
