What you'll do:
- Support the team by conducting conflicts searches and analysis on low risk matters under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm protocols.
- Create and maintain information barriers to protect sensitive data and uphold confidentiality standards across all cases.
- Assist with confidential partner lateral hiring searches, contributing to the integrity of recruitment processes within the firm.
- Develop, review, and maintain online resources that facilitate efficient access to critical information for both lawyers and business services groups.
- Perform ad hoc administrative and research tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness to evolving needs.
- Manage bulk data efficiently, particularly in relation to class action and bankruptcy matters, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Participate actively in discrete projects such as responding to Business Development requests or supporting new initiatives within the team.
- Undertake additional duties as requested by senior staff, adapting quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across various offices and departments, fostering strong inter-personal connections and teamwork.
What you bring:
- A law degree is essential for this position, providing you with the foundational knowledge required for complex legal analysis.
- Completion of LPC or similar qualification is desirable, enhancing your practical understanding of legal procedures.
- Demonstrable paralegal experience ideally gained within a City practice will enable you to navigate demanding legal environments with confidence.
