Supply Chain Assistant

You'll support the day-to-day operation of the supply chain function, helping to ensure materials, schedules and information are in place to keep the business running efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the creation and maintenance of production plans and schedules.
• Monitoring stock and material availability and highlighting potential issues.
• Updating reports, spreadsheets and operational performance data.
• Assisting with purchasing activities and supplier communications.
• Helping to ensure materials are available when required for production.
• Supporting stock management and stocktake activities.
• Working closely with colleagues across Production, Sales, Purchasing and Operations.
• Assisting with continuous improvement projects and new business processes.
• Providing general administrative support to the Supply Chain team.

You could be a recent graduate, college leaver, someone looking to move into supply chain from another discipline, or an administrator with strong analytical skills who wants a more commercial career path.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A logical and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with people across different teams.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
