Master Data & Life Cycle Officer

Master Data & Life Cycle Officer Location: Oldham Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 Contract: 6-month fixed term contract

We are currently recruiting for a Master Data & Life Cycle Officer to join an established manufacturing business on a 6-month fixed term contract.

The main focus of the role will be to work through a backlog of master data activity, ensuring information is accurate and up to date within SAP. You will work closely with the wider Supply Chain, Production, Procurement and Quality teams to support the smooth running of the operation.

The role will involve:

• Creating and maintaining component and finished product data in SAP
• Creating and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings
• Managing changes to product and component master data
• Updating product and material statuses
• Supporting new product launches and product lifecycle changes
• Producing regular reports for the Supply Chain team
• Reviewing data and identifying any discrepancies or inaccuracies
• Working with different departments to resolve issues and ensure information is kept up to date

We are looking for someone who is analytical, organised and has strong attention to detail. Previous experience using SAP is essential, ideally within a manufacturing or Supply Chain environment.

Experience with master data, BOMs, routings or production planning would be beneficial, alongside good Excel and Microsoft Office skills.

This would suit someone who is comfortable working with large amounts of data, can work independently and is able to manage a backlog efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
