Category Manager

What You'll Do:
As Category Manager, you will play a central role in managing a complex portfolio of properties and service contracts on a global scale. Your day-to-day activities will involve:
- Maintaining oversight of all corporate and research & development leases, ensuring renewals, expirations, and obligations.
- Leading negotiations for new leases, renewals, amendments, and terminations in close partnership with Legal and Finance teams.
- Coordinating site transition activities such as openings, relocations, closures, document destruction, facility clean-up, and vendor offboarding.
- Overseeing contracts for essential site services.
- Managing vendor relationships by setting clear SLA’s and performance metrics.
- Source facility-related services strategically by negotiating advantageous terms that align with organisational goals.
What you bring:
To excel as Category Manager, you will bring the following background:
- Extensive experience as a procurement professional operating within global or international manufacturing organisations.
- Proven expertise in strategic sourcing specifically related to property as well as facilities management services across multiple geographies.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate leases, service contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement systems including multi-site ERP platforms.
- Exceptional communication abilities allowing you to build rapport quickly with internal stakeholders at all levels (including C-suite) as well as external suppliers.
