Country Manager

Country Manager Location: Remote/ Cardiff with regional travel Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are recruiting for an extremely exciting and purpose-driven organisation delivering a major national infrastructure programme. As the organisation enters an important phase of growth and mobilisation, they are looking for an experienced Country Manager to lead delivery across Wales.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for operational mobilisation, stakeholder management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll take ownership of regional operational delivery, ensuring plans are translated into effective day-to-day execution.

• Leading the mobilisation and delivery of a complex regional operation.
• Acting as the senior regional point of contact for key stakeholders.
• Building strong relationships with government, regulatory, industry and operational partners.
• Working closely with wider Operations and Programme teams to deliver strategic objectives.
• Leading, developing and managing the regional operations team.
• Establishing clear performance measures and driving accountability.
• Identifying and resolving operational challenges quickly and pragmatically.
• Reporting on delivery, performance, risks and key outcomes to senior leadership.
• Helping shape operating models and processes within a rapidly developing organisation.

About You

We're looking for a Country Manager with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes, services or operations.

You'll ideally have experience in environments such as logistics, infrastructure, transport, defence, public sector or other highly regulated/complex sectors.

You'll be confident operating at senior level, influencing a wide range of stakeholders and representing an organisation externally. Just as importantly, you'll be comfortable being hands-on when required, particularly within an organisation where processes and structures are still being developed.
