Overview

We’re supporting a leading organisation in the water sector to recruit a Project Delivery Engineer to drive network optimisation and leakage reduction programmes. This is a delivery-focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys turning engineering designs into measurable operational improvements.

The Role

You will take ownership of multiple network intervention schemes from approval through to delivery, ensuring safe, efficient execution and demonstrable performance gains. Working closely with design, construction, and operational teams, you’ll keep projects moving, resolve issues, and ensure outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end network improvement schemes
• Coordinate across design, construction, and operations
• Manage programmes, risks, and site activity
• Track performance and ensure measurable benefits
• Drive multiple schemes in a fast-paced environment
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover

About You

• Experience in water networks, leakage, or utility engineering
• Understanding of hydraulics, pressure management, or distribution systems
• Strong delivery mindset with the ability to execute plans effectively
• Confident managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders
• Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused
