Contract Specialist / In-House Paralegal

I'm working with an energy infrastructure organisation looking for a junior construction contract specialist to join their Commercial team. This organisation prides itself on fostering a strong workplace culture, where people prefer collaborating in the office despite the hybrid working allowance. You will be supported to grow professionally all the while building long lasting relationships with people across the business.

About the Role

You will support a Commercial team of 5 and a wider Services team of 50 in reviewing a range of construction contracts for various projects, including NEC and JCT with the assistance of the in-house Legal function.

During your initial onboarding, this role will be site-based so you can imbed yourself in the business and build lasting professional relationships with your team and various stakeholders. From that point, 3-4 days on-site will be flexible.

For any paralegals interested in the role, there is the possibility to qualify via SQE route in the Commercial team.

What You Bring

• Ideally, you will bring a qualification in law from a commonwealth jurisdiction.
• Experience in drafting and reviewing a range of construction contracts is essential.
