Employment Associate/Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Employment Solicitor to join a highly reputable and dynamic team, recognised highly in the Legal 500 UK rankings. This role offers is based in the vibrant city of Bristol. The successful candidate will have the chance to work with market-leading clients across the financial services, health-care and commercial sectors.

What you'll do:

As an Employment Associate/Solicitor, your role will be diverse and challenging. You will be responsible to:

• Undertake with an emphasis on financial services sector clients a varied workload of employment matters whilst advising all types of employers.
• Work on under appropriate supervision, complex discrimination, whistle-blowing and breach of contract litigation
• Assist on non-contentious projects including restructures in the UK and across various jurisdictions.
• General employment advisory work by telephone and email.
• Take an active role in supervising the work of and assisting in the development of trainees and paralegals.
• Take part in marketing, networking and other business development activities to maintain and develop work from existing clients and potential clients.

What you bring:

As an Employment Associate/Solicitor, you bring valuable skills and experience to the table, :

• Qualified Solicitor with ideally 2-6+ years PQE.
• Experience of advising clients in the financial services sector and multi-national commercial clients.
• Experience of working on tribunal claims and other contentious matters.
• Independent thinker with a focus on generating commercial solutions to problems on behalf of clients.
• Confident communicator with an ability to develop relationships with clients and influence at all levels.
• Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
