Senior Counsel-£100k (for 4 days pw),9mth FTC

Rapidly growing outfit in the digital sector are hiring a Senior Legal Counsel for a period of 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave. This role is based in Central London with two days per week required in the office. The role starts in July and can be offered on a 4 day per week basis.

The remit encompasses a wide range of commercial, technology, data, IP and general legal advisory work, and would be ideal for someone with extensive commercial contracting experience.

This role requires a qualified lawyer with at least 10 years’ PQE (the more experience, the better), although applications from all levels will be considered on merit. A background as an in-house lawyer in the creative sectors (eg, media, advertising, marketing, retail etc) would be particularly helpful. And whilst interest from candidates coming from more regulated sectors (eg, financial services) will be considered, it isn’t seen as ideally suited to this particular remit. The legal team has an excellent reputation for providing commercially-focused advice to assist the business in moving ideas and strategies forward, so you must be someone who is able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

This role requires someone who can start immediately. Unfortunately individuals with a notice period of more than one month cannot be considered.

Please note that applications from lawyers with less than 10PQE will be welcomed, but it is expected at that level a full five day working week would be required.
