Senior Counsel- £110-130k, 6mth FTC

Senior Legal Counsel role at a global operator in the transport/logistics sector. This is a six month contract which requires somebody who can start before the end of June. The role is on a hybrid working pattern with attendance at the Central London offices needed for three days per week (Mon, Wed and Thu)

The dominant feature of the role will be drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial agreements across the business ranging including procurement, IT, transport, supply, distribution and general services throughout the organisation. There will be a requirement to advise on compliance matters and also get involved with small-scale litigation.

The business is looking for someone with at least 6 years’ PQE (although the more experience the better) but applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You will possess extensive experience of leading negotiations on commercial agreements. Any compliance (eg, sanctions, ABC/KYC) and litigation experience would be advantageous not essential. Applications from candidates who have previously worked in the transport/logistics/shipping industries would be viewed favourably but it is not a prerequisite.
