Global Payroll & Benefits Implementation Lead

This pivotal role involves overseeing supplier selection, project planning, governance, risk management, and phased transitions across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver UK payroll transition first, followed by phased on-boarding of other countries.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across People, Finance, IT, Tax, and Risk.
  • Manage suppliers through mobilisation, design, testing, parallel runs, and go-live.
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements while maintaining global consistency.
  • Oversee integration plans across payroll systems, benefits platforms, and financial reporting interfaces.
  • Develop robust controls frameworks to meet audit readiness standards.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven track record in leading complex payroll managed service transitions and benefits platform implementations.
  • Strong project management skills with expertise in RAID logs, cutover planning, and governance reporting.
  • Deep understanding of global payroll controls and multi-country compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior levels.
  • Knowledge of HR/payroll ecosystems such as Workday and related integration.
