HR Tech Consultant Leeds (Hybrid) Experience: 8–10 years Salary - £70k - £100k - DOE

The Opportunity

I am seeking an experienced HR Tech Consultant to play a key role in supporting and optimising Core HR systems within a dynamic enterprise environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who combines strong functional expertise with a deep understanding of HR processes and enjoys working closely with business users to drive system improvements.

You’ll act as the bridge between HR stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that Oracle EBS Core HR is configured, maintained, and enhanced to meet evolving business needs.


What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse business requirements and map HR processes to Oracle EBS Core HR functionality
  • Configure and maintain Core HR structures, including organisations, jobs, positions, grades, and employee records
  • Produce clear and detailed functional specifications for reports, integrations, and system enhancements
  • Support day-to-day HR operations, including hires, transfers, terminations, and organisational changes
  • Lead and support system testing activities, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Provide ongoing functional support to HR users, troubleshooting issues and identifying opportunities for process optimisation
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of integrations, reports, and system changes
  • Develop user documentation, training materials, and workshop sessions to support adoption and best practice

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • 8–10 years of Oracle EBS HCM experience, with strong functional expertise in Core HR
  • In-depth understanding of HR data structures, security profiles, and approval workflows
  • Proven experience translating business needs into functional solutions and configurations
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, including employee lifecycle management
  • Experience working closely with technical teams on reports, integrations, and enhancements
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills
